As soon as your reservation is canceled, you’ll get a confirmation email letting you know the refund has been processed. From there, it usually takes 5–7 business days for the amount to reflect in your account — this depends on your bank.
If it’s been longer than that and you still don’t see the refund, we recommend checking in with your bank directly. Share the transaction charge ID with them — they’ll be able to trace it for you.
Refunds to inactive or discontinued cards
If your card is no longer active, don’t worry — as long as the bank account linked to it is still open, the refund will still go through without any issues. Even if the card itself has been discontinued, your bank should be able to process the refund normally.
Got questions? We've got answers!
It's been 7 days, and I haven’t received an email or a refund. What should I do?
Sorry about the delay — we know waiting isn’t fun. Please reach out to our support team, and we’ll share the ARN (Acquirer Reference Number) linked to your refund. Your bank can use this to track it down quickly.
Where can I find my refund number?
There’s no separate refund number to keep track of. All your refund details are linked to your 7-digit Headout order number, which you’ll find in your confirmation email.
