At Headout, all experiences are priced in the local currency of the city where they take place. If you pay in a different currency, your bank or card issuer may apply a conversion rate or additional fees. Since these charges are set by your bank, we recommend checking with them beforehand.
Example:
Let’s say you’re in the U.S. and booking a London theater show. Your American credit card will process the payment in British Pounds, applying your bank’s exchange rate.
Cross-Border Fees
If you spot extra charges on your bank statement or a difference between the checkout price and the final charge, it might be a cross-border fee. Some banks classify Headout’s payment processing as international, even if the currency matches your card. These fees come from your bank, and we’re unable to refund them.

How to avoid unexpected charges?
Before booking, ask your bank about any conversion or cross-border fees based on the city you’re purchasing from.
